My outgoing personality, relational capacity, organization skills, instructional background and relevant administration experience in education makes me a strong candidate for a Campus Principal. I have been employed as a Texas Public Educator for the past 13 years under the leadership of several phenomenal individuals. I have had the opportunity to lead our scholars as a Classroom Teacher, a Literacy Strategist, a High School Testing Coordinator, an Assistant Principal, and an Academic Dean of Instruction. A former Principal spent time mentoring me and ultimately inspired me to become an administrator. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to serve in multiple roles and obtain a wealth of knowledge to share with others.
A letter of interest cannot illustrate the intangibles that set me apart from other candidates. I have a passion for education, helping others, and have mastered the art of student discipline. I absolutely love children and understand that we must invest in them as they hold the key to our future. I juggle the roles of wife, mother, mentor, and educator while simultaneously leading our teachers in finding ways to analyze student data to get better each day. I find pleasure in learning new ways to impact student achievement, and have challenged myself to address my own personal constraints daily. If you are looking for a positive, professional, and dedicated individual to blaze trails, look no further.
As an educator, I am always seeking to better myself and have dedicated myself to a journey of lifelong learning. I am very thankful that I “get” to be an educator. I understand grit and the growth mindset that is necessary for student success, and would love the opportunity lead our scholars as a Campus Principal. The ability to obtain knowledge is a remarkable gift, and I put my heart and soul into learning new things and sharing them with others. With my leadership capabilities, relevant experience, energetic personality, love for kids, and desire to educate, I feel that I am a perfect fit for your school district and campus.
